Valeria studied philosophy at the University of Pisa and at the Scuola Normale Superiore. After her degree she took a Masters in European Studies at the Research Center on European Integration of the University of Siena, spending one semester at the Institut des Haute Etudes Europčennes in Strasbourg. She is now a PhD student in Philosophy at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, where she has held several scholarships, and where her studies focus on ethics and political philosophy. She is currently writing on the role of imagination in moral reasoning and in the construction and assessment of concepts and ethical norms. Valeria’s wider experiences include producing and presenting for a Pisa radio station and a stage in the European Parliament. She loves travel, scuba, cooking and dogs (they love her back).
