Francesco Grillo


Francesco is President and cofounder of Vision. Together with Vision he has lead managed number of projects on the impact of the Internet on Society. He is author of Il Ritorno della Rete, 2001, ed. Fazi, on the impact of ICT on health care systems, La Macchina che cambiņ il Mondo, 2002, ed. Fazi, on the impact of ICT on the car and the transportation system, and Il Sonno della Ragione, 2003, ed. Marsilio (to be released) on the crisis of rationality. He also published a number of articles on 11th September and global governance including a proposal on the reform of UN he wrote together with other vision researchers on magazines and newspapers like the italian Reset and the british opendemocracy.
Previously at Bank of Tokyo - London as a Head of Italian Desk and then with McKinsey as an Associate, he is now managing director of Visionandvalue, the management consulting firm, advising strategies to major private and public organisations (including the European Commission and Italian Ministry of Economy).
He holds a Laurea in Economia from LUISS University in Rome and an MBA as a Fulbright Scholar from Boston University. He is currently working at a PhD research at The London School of Economics.
His passion is Juventus, playing soccer and tennis, listening to classic music, touring remote places. His favourite readings are Dylan Dog and The Economist.
