Tommaso obtained an honours degree in Business Administration from Rome University, before becoming a manager in a consulting firm for thirteen years, first in the financial sector and then for central and local government. Since 1998, Tommaso has acted as strategy consultant and project manager in public administrations, implementing organizational innovation and new technologies, and conducting evaluations. Also in 1998, Tommaso became Professor of Organization of Business Information Systems in the Department of Business Administration Department at Tuscia University. Tommaso is an Expert Evaluator for DG XIII of the European Commission in the field of Action e-Ten, and a member of Technical-Scientific Committees for Ministries.
Tomasso heads a number of academic research projects and has published widely on organizational change and technology innovation (for full details see www.tommasofederici.it). Tommaso has been a part of the Vision team since its birth; he regards Vision as an “honest broker” for considering new proposals and for incubating free thought. Tomasso has contributed substantially to “visionary” research projects on themes includine e-government and e-democracy. Tomasso loves cinema and theatre, photography and architecture, playing rugby and jogging, music and walking in the mountains.
